Like a star constellation, the cycling network weaves through the green heart of Val Pusteria.
With the wind on your back, the panorama in view, and new impressions with every push of the pedals – welcome to the bike paradise around our bike hotel in South Tyrol!
The mountain bike routes, some of which start right from the hotel, range from leisurely rides, adrenaline-filled downhill tracks, challenging pass trails, to alpine highs …
Whether by cable car, on foot, or on two wheels – you can also conquer Plan de Corones by bike. The plateau offers not only varied bike routes and circular trails, but also flowing trails for downhill enthusiasts, and for those wanting to become one.

The top three include: Herrensteig, with short variations of all difficulty levels; the Furcia trail, with lots of flow, jumps, and curves; and the Gassl trail, known as the easiest, ideal for beginners in this sport. In short: get ready for some adrenaline.
… takes about 43.6 kilometres by e-bike or mountain bike. Starting from the hotel, head through Santo Stefano to Maria Saalen, then gently climb via the panoramic road to San Vigilio. Enjoy the viewpoints and use them as rest stops because from San Vigilio, the leisurely ride turns into a demanding trail that winds steeply upwards. At times, you’ll have to push your bike. The trail eventually joins a more manageable forest path, which leads up to the summit of Plan de Corones.
… can be ridden in different stages, making it varied and adaptable. The first leg runs from Brunico to Rio di Pusteria (25.5 km), the second from Brunico to San Candido (33.5 km), and the final leg follows the Drava River to Lienz (44 km). By the way, the return journey can also be done by train.
… starts right from our doorstep and follows the cycle path from Riscone, through Brunico, Gais, to Campo Tures, and finally to Bagni di Salomone. Here, you can leave your bike and admire the three impressive Riva waterfalls. The perfect way to cool off on hot summer days!
The Gönner Alm lies at the foot of Montone and is one of the most popular alpine huts in the Val Pusteria. The tour starts directly from the hotel, leading from Perca to Vila di Sopra and along a well-maintained forest path to the Gönner Alm. By the way: in Vila di Sopra, you can also discover a unique natural phenomenon – the earth pyramids. All the effort is rewarded with breathtaking views of Brunico, the Val Pusteria, and the surrounding mountain giants. And of course, with a well-deserved break at the Alm! PS: a sip of Latschenkiefer (pine) schnapps to round off the experience makes it truly unforgettable.
In the summer months, cycling to South Tyrol’s most beautiful mountain lake has its advantages.
How could that be? The lake is popular and no longer a hidden gem. However, if you time your visit well and happen to be on an e-bike, you’ll have Lago di Braies almost all to yourself—or at least a part of it. You can reach Lago di Braies via several routes—comfortably along the cycle path or more challengingly over the Passo Furcia and the Monte Croce.
We’ll tell you in person – otherwise, it wouldn’t be an insider secret …
