Winter hike Haidenberg

The hike begins at the hotel and first leads to Santo Stefano, where the tour starts. Following a wide forest path, you’ll step straight into an enchanted winter forest, and after about an hour, you’ll reach the destination – Haidenberg. From here, you can enjoy a wonderful view over the valley basin of Brunico and the surrounding landscape. For those who want to savour the view a little longer, a stop at the mountain inn offers the chance to enjoy some delicious local dishes.

An impressive tour that starts easily along a forest path, passing the Montassilone Alm (closed in winter) and gradually climbing to the summit of Schönbichl. The panorama of the snow-covered Zillertal Alps, the Dolomites, and the Vedrette di Ries group is simply stunning.

The tour begins with a relaxing cable car ride to the Speikboden mountain station. Along the route, you’ll not only pass through stone pine forests but also admire several wooden sculptures along the way. After a short climb, you’ll reach the Hühnerspiel viewing point, offering truly breathtaking views. To finish, the Trejer Alm invites you for a cosy stop before you return via a wide forest road.
